Hey guys. I am seeking advice on filling for a K1 visa. I am a US citizen with a foreign girlfriend. At some point we will begin the process of filing for a K1 visa. I would like to hear from others that have completed the process and my questions are as follows. Did you use an immigration lawyer to help with the filing process or did you complete the process yourself? To be honest, whenever I look at all of the documents we will need to file it gives me a headache. For those of you that completed the process yourselves, do you wish you would have have used a lawyer? And for those of you that used a lawyer, do you think it was a waste of money and do you think you could have done it yourself? I would love to hear thoughts from both scenarios.
