February 2021 - documents mailed via lawyer to Chicago drop box

March 2021 - I-765 received with I-485, I-864, I-130, and I-131

April 2021 - received biometrics notice

End of May 2021 - biometrics taken

June 30, 2021 - OPT expires, can no longer work

~Radio Silence~

September 6th - speak to congressman’s staff member about case, employer writes letter

September 8th - congressman’s staff speaks to Congressional USCIS liaison, who agrees to pass case to expedite team

September 8th (~2 hours later) - I-765 accepted via expedited processing

September 13th - card was produced

September 14th - card was picked up by USPS

September 15th - received 765 approval notice via mail

September 17th - EAD arrived in the mail

Will be waiting a while for green card processing I bet but that’s okay. Being able to work was the big stress.

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: ​ " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p .
