Hello, I am hoping to apply for my PhD in a STEM subject in the US. My grades have been excellent. I am now 22 years old, but as a juvenile was in trouble with the law a few times. I have 10 arrests from between the ages of 15-17, all of which were simple battery and criminal damage. I got 2 convictions for 10 offences (in youth court, battery + crim damage), a youth caution for computer hacking and a charge for a serious assault which I was acquitted of. I know it sounds awful... however as I was a juvenile I know I'm technically not inadmissible. As such,in my DS-160 would it be wise to say womething along the lines of ' I have been in trouble with law enforcement but only as a juvenile and as such am not inadmissible under section......'?
Also there doesn't seem to be a place on the DS-160 where I can upload letters of support from my teachers etc. which shows I have been rehabilitated
