US Visa Questions

I have a few questions regarding US immigration and visas.

A brief background, I am a UK citizen and my brother married an American citizen over five years ago and is now applying for his US citizenship, once he is a US citizen he can then sponsor me for a US Visa. I also work for a global company with offices in the US which I’d like to transfer to in the future.

I’m unsure which will come first whether my brother will gain citizenship or whether my work will transfer me so my question is can my brother sponsor me for a Visa while I’m on or applying for a Visa through work? I’d prefer to be sponsored by my brother as this is more permanent and doesn’t rely on my job or working for the same company.

Does anyone also know how long it’s taking at the minute for applications to go through? My brother has lived and worked in the US for over five years will this speed things up? And is there any delays in the process due to Covid?

My other question is what happens if I have a boyfriend can my brother also sponsor my boyfriend or do we have to be married? Or once I’m on a US Visa can I sponsor my boyfriend or again do we have to be married?

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

N-400 form {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} message

A few questions: I filed my N400 naturalization on March 23, 2020. Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee! At the same time April 2021 showed up on my account as the expected completion date. Last week, the status was "17 days". Today the estimated time of completion has disappeared!!! Any idea what that means?
