My mom became a citizen last year. She had a name change but still didn't update her Social Security information. She is wanting to register to vote (NY deadline for registration is October 9). Could she still register to vote even though she didn't update her Social Security information? She is a citizen, so she wouldn't be lying about that or misrepresenting herself.
