Duel Citizenship

Hi.

I’m currently in the process of immigrating to the US from the UK to live with my wife.

I would be wanting to apply for duel citizenship for myself and my wife. Is this possible? I have read online different articles that say the opposite saying that I would loose my US citizenship if I do apply.
