Hi me(US CITIZEN) and my GF(CAD CITIZEN) planned on getting married in Alberta Canada where she’s from and then applying for spousal sponsorship for me to move there. The application process seemed very straight forward but now plans are changing and she might end up coming into the States and for some reason when i look online i can’t find clear instructions like i did on canada’s website for spousal sponsorship. Can someone explain it to me? Would we still be able to marry in Canada or do we HAVE to marry in US for her to able to live here?
