CR1 and income question

Hello everyone and any help is much appreciated.

I have a fairly complicated situation so I'll try to be clear.

I am in the process of filing a CR1 visa for my foreign spouse abroad. I am a U.S. Citizen. I make around 50,000$ a year as a 1099 contract employee. After writeoffs and deductions it limits my taxable income to around 13,000$ a year. So I was able to get my father to joint sponsor my spouse.

My Father makes around 90K a year in his normal W2 job. However, he has 2 side businesses in which he shows a loss each year, bringing his taxable income to pretty much nothing. I'm very concerned now that due to this reality, he may be disqualified as a joint sponsor.

Does anyone have advice for me? Experience with this? I'd hate to go through this whole process only to be denied based on both of us making legal use of the tax code.

Thanks for any help!
