I want to file the CRBA for my kid living abroad. i would file under child born out of wedlock to us citizen father. I am in good terms with the mom but we are not in a relationship. we would like the option being able to have my kid come to the us in case something happens.
My question would be, do i need to make a certain income in order to qualify for this?? or does this even matter?? I'm currently on a college student income. Other than that we do have proof of a relationship, pics of birth, pregnancy etc. and I've lived in the us all my life for the exception of 1 years when i lived abroad (meet my kids mom) and came back then 1 year later went back to living abroad for 1 year then returned. i have access my school records from k-12 and college.
