I’m planning on calling the USCIS office to ask about my OPT application, which was received on Feb 26. Tomorrow will be 90 days since I first applied, and I really just want to know what the status is as I’m supposed to start my new job June 4 (hopefully). Has anyone had any experience speaking with officers? Do’s and dont’s of what to say/avoid saying?
USCIS officers intimate the shit out of me, prob because they literally hold my future in their hands, so any guidance would be helpful.
