Hi everyone, so basically I (25M) have a F1 Visa that's about to expire on May 31st, dual citizenship (Ecuador and Chile), and a B1 visa. My wife (25F) is a born&raised US citizen.
We got married in Ecuador and we are ready to start the IR1 petition for me to get a greencard. However, I'm quite unsure if we can still proceed or not since Donald Trump mentioned greencards were on hold.
Due covid and Ecuador's economical crisis, my MIL offered a place for us to live in the US for free.
Now, what is the best way for us to move to the US and work legally there?
- Start the petition for my greencard and wait 1-2 years in Ecuador?
- Enroll to an online college master's to extend my F1 Visa and live at my MIL house?
Please, any help or comment is highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
