Hello. My girlfriend is about to graduate from university and is here on an F-1 Student Visa. She is currently getting ready to apply to jobs and possibly get sponsored via OPT and has until November to find a job that's in her major field and is willing to sponsor her. If we decide to get married during these OPT 3 months, will she be able to stay in the United States, even after her OPT period expires? Or will she have to travel back to her country (even though she is legally married to me, a US citizen) and wait for her Green Card application to be approved?
