Hi,
So I just graduated from STEM PhD program in the states and I have been offered a job to lead a biotech that one of the Professors here at the university started. I received my EAD after applying to OPT in February.
With the uncertainty around whether OPT can be cancelled at any time, and the Trump Administration plans for it. I want to be prepared if I have to get my TN1 visa earlier than expected. I know that TN1 only applies to certain professions, the company I am working for is making devices to measure stem cells so in a sense I am an engineer/biologist/medical laboratory technologist, but my actual role is going to be in leading the company and organizing everyone.
Will this be acceptable to the border agents?
Appreciate your insights!
