I received my EAD in the mail about a month and a half ago then my SSN just last week but I am having issues with my SSN. I tried making an account on the SSA website but it tells me that I cannot make an account with my SSN. My husband also had me try making a credit karma account since I have been an authorized user on his credit cards and he wants me to try to get a card of my own but when I input my number it told me the bureau said that number didn't match my name. I am so confused. Sorry if this was a dumb question but am I missing something? Was I supposed to do something else I don't know about? I am kind of nervous about applying to jobs. I am going to try to call the SSA today but last time I did they were rude and not very helpful.
