When does this visa expire?
My grandma is visiting America from South Korea. We were looking to extend her visa but realized her visa card shows an expiration date of 2031. It also includes "Visa Type / Class: R / B1B2.
As far as they've told me, she's on a visitor visa because her daughter is a U.S. citizen and they were under the impression that she'd be able to stay for 6 months.
Considering her passport also expires about a month before the expiration date on this Visa, we're not sure what all of this means.
Just wanted to ask here to get a better understanding before going through a bunch of phone calls to get to the right person to speak to about this. Thanks for any insight.
