How far ahead in time should my passport be valid for a US embassy to print an H-1B visa on it?
Specifically, my current passport expires in February 2022. A potential employer told me they expect my H-1B cap exempt application to be approved sometimes between August and September. I'll book an appointment at the US embassy immediately after, to get the H-1B visa stamped on my passport... will my current passport be accepted? Or shall I plan to have a new passport by the time I show up to the US embassy?
