Hi I have a question on what K1 visa back log actually means for people who are not affected by the shengen ban.
Take for example my situation. My fiance is Albanian, the embassy in Tirana has resumed processing all immigrant visas.
Will my case sit at NVC even though it is able to go to the embassy?
What I mean is, does the huge back log of unprocessed cases (due to the shengen ban) affect everyone's timeline, or just those in shengen/banned embassies.
I really feel for people in those banned countries affected by politics. But I think it is strange for my case to wait behind a case that cannot move forward (assuming that's how it works).
