My family applied for an I-130 immigration petition back in 2013. We got the I-797 approval notice last year and the NVC welcome letter a few months ago. But our priority date is 2013, so we still have to wait about 4-5 years. Meanwhile, I wanted to apply for a student visa and get my Bachelor's degree from a US university. Would that be possible or would my pending immigration petition lead to complications?
