I-94 questions

I am a current DACA recipient and a visa overstay. I know an attorney would be better suited for my question(s) but since there are redditors with a lot of knowledge in this field, I thought I'd create a post...

A little background, I came to the US in 1990 with my mother on a tourist visa. We went through immigration and had our passports stamped by an immigration officer. I think I was also issued some sort of governement card.

Fast forward to 2021, I recently got engaged to my US citizen girlfriend and we are planning on starting the process for my GC. As I was looking through my passport, I did not see the I-94 stamp in my passport. I later found out that wasn't the original passport and the original one was lost. I know I can retrieve the I94 through the CBP website by submitting a FOIA request. As I was looking through my mother's passport, she still had her original passport with the stamp in it and it says "admission 2 persons" with my name under her name. My question is, do I still need my I-94 records even if there is evidence on my mother's passport that we were both admitted by an immigration officer at the same time?

Has anyone else been in this situation?
