How long is IR1 processing

So My fiancé and I are planning to get married here in Canada (I’m international student) my visa would be valid until July 2022 . How long is the process for IR1 ? Do I need to extend my visa if it’s longer? Or I can process K3 to my home country (philippines) and process IR1 here in Canada.
