Have an appointment at a US consulate in Vancouver. However, I see earlier appointments in other embassies like Toronto and Calgary. Can I file another DS-160 and make another appointment at one of the other consulates in Canada?
The reason I’m not switching my Vancouver appointment to another embassy is : 1. They specifically say on the interview booking system to specify the consulate that was used in the Ds-160, which in my case is Vancouver. So I can’t use the Toronto embassy for my current Ds-160. 2. Is like to keep the current appointment I have just in case a book a new one at the other consulate - ie a backup plan.
