L1-A Visa Application Questions (Owner/Manager Relocating)

Hello,

I am helping a friend complete an L-1A Visa application (Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker - Form I-129) and have a few questions I’m hoping someone can answer:

1. For “Part 1” of Form I-129, if the person intending to relocate to the US is the owner/manager of the company with an existing office in the USA, should they file the petition as an Individual or as Company?
2. For the Q1 and Q2 of the “L Classification Supplement” to Form I-129, is it correct that the company is listed as the Petitioner and the individual is listed as the beneficiary?
3. Is this the correct process flow:

1) File L-1A Visa Form > 2) File DS-160 (if approved) > 3) Attend consulate interview > 4) File Visa for accompanying spouse (L-2)
