Wondering if you anyone can help me. I have applied for AOS/i131/i765 in 11/2020 (status: applications received) and currently have a valid H1B (without a stamp). I have a family emergency and would like to go home ASAP (European country). Could I use my H1B to go outside the US and come back without loosing my AOS? Is there a risk it will delay the AOS? Of course I would have to go to an embassy to get a stamp yada yada. I ask because I am desperate to go. TIA!
