During our trip to India last year, my husband stole my passport, visa and absconded to the USA. Meantime his lawyers started divorce proceedings in the Indian court. I requested him to return back my passport, he refused to return it. So I filled a fir(police report) in India and reported this to the USA consulate, and California cops. Later He traveled back to India and returned my passport to the police. Now I am planning to apply for an F1 visa. 1. Should I mention about stolen visa in Ds160? 2. What are my chances of getting an F1? 3 Will my pending divorce case affects my chance of getting f1 visa?
