Ive been trying to search online trying to figure out what the backlog is like at the Rio consulate.
I know it has been very recent them starting cases from March 2020 but considering they said they are “scheduling only cases for spouses of U.S. citizens and children (who are under 21 years old) of U.S. citizens”, id like to know an idea of the amount of cases their for this and also how quick they are doing the interviews. Since they are resuming these type of interviews im sure that they are issuing more and more of these visas month by month.
Im asking if there is anybody that has an idea or something that gets updated frequently towards this. Im not sure if thats even a thing. As well as anybody that has gotten an interview date recently for the Rio consulate, that would help me the most.
Ive been on here before about this but im not a normal user of reddit. I just come on here for info about things and also read stories about others what they are doing or going through. It helps me learn and understand the tedious immigration subject more. I learn more from here than i do any other place.
Id appreciate if i can get any info other than the stuff i already see and read about this, im not very smart or knowledgeable on all this so please be nice. Im sorry if it comes off as an unnecessary post but this is all i can do.
Thank you for your time, take care.
