I'm a certified teacher at a private school in NY. I want to go back to school to get a second masters in childhood education and get another certification. I have a good credit score but I don't have GC citizenship or documents. I do have a work permit which allows me to work full time in a school here. I'm trying to get a private student loan but every place is asking for a cosigner. I don't have family here and I can't ask my friends to be my cosigner. I know it is a big responsibility and I hate to let someone do that for me. Is there any way I can get a loan with my good credit score and a proof of my annual salary?
