I just spoke with an agent about getting an expedite request for emergency reasons, and he said that anytime after biometrics you can call the embassy in the country we are going to and request travel permission for any reason and it would be approved.
he recommended it for emergencies but said it could be for anything.
has anyone else heard of this?
