Quick question - does anyone know if there's a way of changing your purpose of visit from work to tourism while in the US without flying out and back in?
Long story short, I have a job in America I need to fly in for, so I'll be using my media visa (I-VISA). Once my work is done, I plan to stay with my American wife for a month or so, so I want to switch to my ESTA as I don't think this is correct use of my I-VISA, and while technically I could do it, I don't want to take any risks.
I can't find any information online about whether this change is possible without exiting the USA. I'd really love to avoid excess flights at the moment where possible.
