Living Together After Marriage

My fiancé and I are getting married this month and starting the application process to get him a green card. I've seen a lot of people say that USCIS wants to see a couple living together after the wedding. But the issue with us, is that I live in an apartment and had to undergo a background check and have my credit checked. But my fiancé doesn't have credit and I'm not sure my landlord would be fine with moving him in without this. Any advice?
