Hello everyone, need some honest advice on my option regarding to my situation, here it is...
I (US citizen) was planning to propose to my visiting girlfriend (living abroad, not US citizen) who was supposed to be in US earlier this month. Due to COVID-19 the trip was canceled but she plans on visiting maybe in late May or June. I want to propose but she has a in-person certification test she's been working towards for years scheduled in May of 2021.
With the current situation I see a lot of posts stressing the processing time is longer than normal. And I know the whole thing is used to take 4-6 months before receiving AP so the beneficiary can travel abroad. Now with the virus and assuming Trump's EO won't affect us, should I propose..? Should I not? (..and yes, assuming she says YES) Does she have any slight chance to receive her travel document before May 2021?
Thank you so much, your comment and input is greatly appreciated.
