My fiancé and I will be getting married early next year. He’s a US citizen and I’m a Canadian citizen. After the wedding he’ll go back to the US and apply for my spousal visa. Will it matter that we haven’t lived together and will be living together after I’m able to stay with him in the US? Our religion and cultural norms means couples don’t cohabitate before marriage (something we accept and are fine with).
Do married couples have to have been cohabiting before applying for the spousal visa?
