Translate my own docs? Authenticate foreign marriage?

I’m bilingual but the docs I need translated for our green card application are in my second language…can I translate them on my own even if I’m not certified as a translator or anything like that? It’s a marriage certificate, birth certificate, and two affidavits regarding our relationship.

Also does my Guatemalan marriage certificate need to be authenticated in any way to be valid in the US for our CR-1 process?

A few questions: I filed my N400 naturalization on March 23, 2020. Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee!
