Moving to Germany to be with my partner

I am a 27YO Male from UK looking to move to Germany to be with my 25YO Girlfriend. I have a basic grasp of German (English GCSE level) with full intention to learn more, but the research is very complicated and I am looking for the best way to move to Germany.

I do have a previous college degree in Carpentry and Woodworking though I haven't actually worked in that field for around 7 years, instead working in sales and service industry for the past 6 years.

Marriage is in the cards but not until the future
