I recently accepted a job offer in New York for which i’ll be getting a TN visa (in the field of science). In Toronto, i am signed to a modelling agency and i get to do creatives (unpaid) as well as paid photoshoots once in a while (i.e once a month or so). These are basically contract shoots where im told the number of hours + a fixed rate, and my agency gets a %cut.
I was wondering, does a TN prohibit me from getting signed to an agency in the states where i can do similar work? I know you’re not allowed to have multiple jobs (i.e full-time), but I was wondering about this specific case where i would just potentially be getting sporadic offers for paid or unpaid shoots on the weekends.
