Immigrating to the Netherlands as a Canadian grandchild of Swedish and Norwegian citizens
I (25M) am a Canadian citizen. Both my parents were born in Canada, but my paternal Grandfather was born in Norway, and my maternal grandparents were both Swedish and got married in Sweden in the 1950s. I don't speak Swedish or Norwegian but I do speak Dutch and want EU citizenship so I can live in the Netherlands.
Alternatively I'm thinking of using a working holiday visa to get into the Netherlands and trying to get married there. This might be the easier option, but in my understanding won't it only give me permanent residence and not citizenship?
