I want to marry my Mexican girlfriend who’s in the US with a working visa (J1)

Hey beautiful reddit people, me and my gf want to get married and live in the US. I have a dual citizenship (US/MX), she’s a Mexican citizen in the US on a work Visa that expires next year. ¿Which is the best way to approach the situación? ¿Can she change the status of her visa while she’s here? ¿Or would it be better to go back to Mexico and start the process over there?

Any ideas would be appreciated
