Fiancé Visa

Covid has separated me and my girlfriend, and I want to bring her back. We are looking at the Fiancé Visa since we plan on getting married. I wanted to know if anyone here has had experience with this Visa? How long is the process? The website says 9-11 months. Has anyone applied before and did actually take that long? Thank you to any one who can offer any advice or answer to my question.

A few questions: I filed my N400 naturalization on March 23, 2020. Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee!
