Family resident in UK, applying for IR-1

I am the UK spouse of a US citizen. We are resident in the UK and we wish to move to US for the start of the next school year (Aug 2022). Child has dual citizenship.

My employer is likely to be able to sponsor a move to the US office but I would prefer to apply via family route so I am more independent.

The I-130 processing time look scary for our timetable. Followed by a consular application, it’s even more terrifying.

My spouse does not have an income to sponsor us yet although the plan is to find work after arrival.

What would you suggest is the best route to allow us to avoid separation and reduce the overall time to green card?
