So i travel a few weeks ago with my 797 18 month extension letter and expired conditional green card. I had no issues with anything, immigration at JFK was nice, they asked for original copy of 797 and let me in.
My american wife wants to travel again internationally. Do you think or know if border patrol/immigration frown upon folks like me that want to travel often?
I dont want to keep pushing my luck, or get a nasty officer that will give me issues. Typical travel is just for vacation, but i just dont know if i should keep my traveling to a minimum to avoid issues.
Condition GC holder, card is expired, but i have 18 month extension letter that expires next year.
