Expected time frames for NVC to approve application and forward to embassy?

Hey gang,

My wife is applying for spousal visa (Ukraine) via i-130 (priority date: May 2018) and we recently finished submitting all documents (sponsorship, immigrant visa application, etc)—about one month ago.

As I understand it, the next step is to just wait for a response from NVC either a) asking for more info/re-do something or b) informing me that the application is being forwarded to the embassy.

How long is this process taking currently? I was hoping for a maximum three-month time span from submission of final documents to notification from NVC—but maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

Anyone have any input on how long this is taking at the moment?

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: ​ " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p .
