Do I really need an attorney for the Naturalization?

My wife is around a few months away from be elegible for naturalization and I am mediating about hiring my attorney again, they will charge me around 2.5K + filing fees to do and I am a little bit hesitant about it, I can afford it but it hurts my pocket.

I got my green card through an E visa and they took my case from the visa to naturalization, as well as my wife’s Marriage adjustment of status, but the naturalization process I went over it in details and it was extremely straight forward, little supportive documentation and the interview is not really an interview but a test.

I trust blindly my lawyers and I wouldn’t do it with anyone but them, or by myself lol. I wouldn’t do an AOS without them but this time I think I can do it

Anyone who has done it recently?

Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee! At the same time April 2021 showed up on my account as the expected completion date. Last week, the status was "17 days". Today the estimated time of completion has disappeared!!! Any idea what that means? More importantly - When I click on "View PDF" link under "N-400 Application for Naturalization", to see my actual N-400 form, I get " {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} " message! The form is also missing under "Documents -> Your Uploads" tab! So, it appears that my N400 form is missing! What does that all mean, considering that it's impossible to file without N400 form! Finally, under profile, My name is incorrectly sp...
