I have applied for the green card removal of conditions form I-751 back in March but my case is still pending, understandable given the COVID backlog. I received the extension for my status in the form I-551 (a two green hard paper forms that was sent to my lawyer) and I plan to travel to Nigeria with it to visit family.
Given it is a paper document and I want to protect it from damage via lamination, I want to verify that I can do so without running into any issue at the border or disabling any of the security features. tied to the form.
