Hello Friends!
I (United States Citizen) have a Girlfriend (Chilean Citizen, never had a US Visa before) I met a few years ago online. We've met up under the visa waiver, but we're really looking for a more permanent way of staying together for more than 90 days. While the path for getting me to Chile is more simple (limited more by my work and student loans) the path of getting her to the US is a bit more difficult. To that end, I'd like to hear people's thoughts on the various options for visas.
Work - She's currently contracted under an American Company which is willing to act as a Sponsor/Reference but has also said "they can't issue work visas". She is employed as a artist/writer which as far as I understand means an EB3 visa would be the only real applicable visa? How easy is that to obtain?
Relationship - We have no form of legally recognized connection at the moment, and we would prefer to hold off on Marriage for a few more years, but not against doing it early it if it's the only way to live together. I also understand the IR1s are painfully slow (especially with COVID) and there's pretty much a zero chance of a K3.
