So my grandmother has petitioned for my uncle and his 4 kids and it has come through recently. His common-law wife recently told him that the youngest child is not his and I’m assuming even if he does pay the fees and continue the process, they still have do a DNA test which is going to come back and prove that claim so all the money would be wasted. There is an option remove the child but I’ve been told that the name takes a while to be removed and he still has to do a DNA test to provide reason for his removal. If he pays the fees for all the children except the final child, will everything still be processed or will he have to pay for the child as well?
