I live with my friend in a city area who is 17 and has an expired visa. Is it worth it to attempt to find some kind of under the table job to get a little bit of money now or wait until she is 18 and the process of citizenship starts? She turns 18 in literally a month. My dad is pressuring her to get a job and make money to pull her weight "just mow lawns, babysit, back in my day!" etc. I just don't think it's feasible since she has no transportation, I'd have to drive her to it as walking in our area is a no-no. My dad thinks I can get a job from home and then have her do all the work but that just seems way to easy to work. What do you guys think?
