Apply for green card through marrmarriage

Hi I am f1 student married to a US green card holder. Because we are not financially stable, a friend ask us to live with him until we can stand on ours feet. We do help in the expenses of the house. My friend actually rents the house and our names are not in the lease agreement. what proofs should we provide to the immigration showing that we are leaving together as well as electricity bills for our immigration procedure when we have none? I need some advices please?
