Hi guys!! I know a lot of you wouldn’t know how to respond to this but I wanted to share with you guys anyway. I am a minor child of a us citizen (adopted) and we had our I 130 approved yesterday. The i 485 had been saying “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” since March after I had my biometrics taken. But today, Friday, it has been updated to “Request for initial evidence was sent.” I’m crossing my fingers that they are looking to waive my interview and is now asking for the medical as I did not send it out the first time. But shouldn’t it say be an RFE instead, not an RFIE? But anyway we are now anxiously waiting for it to come in the mail to see what it is that they need. But I’m staying hopeful for now.
