After i graduated from my master's i had applied and been accepted for an OPT. However, i had left the country and requested my school to terminate the OPT. My SEVIS record was also terminated.
I have now been accepted to a PhD program at a different school and I have received my I-20 with a new SEVIS number. I still have to pay the $350 SEVIS fee. My question: If the U.S embassy in my home country do not resume visa processing services by the fall, can i go to the U.S with my new school's I-20 and my previous school's F-1 visa? The F-1 visa date indicated in the passport runs till 2022 and has the previous SEVIS number.
Any help with this one?
