Hi all,
I made the really stupid mistake of entering my Post-Completion OPT dates (06/13/19 to 06/12/20) instead of my STEM OPT dates (06/13/20 to 06/12/22) in my I-983. Interestingly enough, my school issued a new I-20 to me with the correct STEM OPT dates. Should I still go ahead with my STEM OPT extension application or will USCIS reject it because of my wrong i-983? From what I can see, the i-983 is more or less between my school's DSO and USCIS.
I've already emailed my university's international students office about this, but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this matter. Thanks all.
