I understand that non-immigrant work visa ban’s are due to expire at the end of this month (hoping for that to actually happen). However, if not, I’m wondering if my fiancé (UK Citizen) would be exempt from the ban once we are married (I’m a US Citizen). Reading through the proclamation it sounds like any of the bans do not hold if you are the spouse of a US citizen — but want to confirm I’m reading that right.
Being that she works for an American company, we’re assuming that proceeding with an intracompany transfer via L1 would be the fastest way for her to be in the states with me and have the ability to work vs filing for a CR1 and then moving her over.
